Launch Ceremony of the Tourism Product “Memories of the Flag Tower”

The Hanoi Flag Tower is regarded as a “historical witness” to the resilience and indomitable spirit of the people of the Capital. In 1945, following the success of the August Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. It was also the moment when the red flag with a yellow star first flew proudly atop the Flag Tower.
Since then, the Hanoi Flag Tower has stood solemn and enduring through time, bearing witness to the many ups and downs of history. Especially during the 30 years of wars for national liberation, the Flag Tower has remained intact, preserving its original values from the time of its construction to the present day.
On December 18, 2022, the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center respectfully announces the organization of the Launch Ceremony and Introduction of the tourism product “Memories of the Flag Tower,” taking place at 2:30 PM on December 18, 2022 at the Hanoi Flag Tower, within the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long World Heritage Site.
