Impressive night tour “Decoding the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long”

On February 10, 2023, in the warm early spring atmosphere, more than 100 tourists went from one surprise to another by experiential activities in the night tour.

At 19:00, the night tour Decoding Imperial Citadel of Thang Long starts from gate 19C Hoang Dieu. The program brings together a large number of domestic and international tourists of different degrees. All share a sense of eagerness waiting for the mystery to be solved. Check-in the gate of Doan Mon with palace maids and guards, admire the artistic performance on the glass stage below which is an archaeological relic of more than 1500 years of history, witness firsthand the ancient wells excavated from the Ly dynasty – Tran has brought visitors back to the past proudly.

Before the Kinh Thien Palace, a ceremony of offering literature and incense was held to honor the memory of the 52 ancestors who had merits in building the Imperial City of Thang Long – Hanoi.

“I have been to Thang Long Imperial Citadel many times before, but the evening has brought me different emotions. It is really fascinating and worth everyone to experience.” Ms. Vu Thi Hai Au, tourists visiting the sharing night tour.

Besides, Hai Yen, an international student, also shared that: “When I see it with my own eyes and blend in with the surrounding atmosphere, I am sure that students will have more interest in history subjects.”
