Secretary-General of the United Nations visited Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam’s participation in the United Nations, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Hanoi, starting an official visit to Vietnam from October 21-22.

Within the framework of the trip, the Secretary-General visited famous landmarks of the capital, such as the Ngoc Son Temple, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam, and the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center is one of the destinations visited by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres during his official visit to Vietnam.

Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center is a World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO since 2010. This activity continues to show the United Nations’ interest in preserving and preserving the unique heritages of countries, like Vietnam.

Here, the Portuguese politician was introduced to the archaeological site and relics in the heritage site, such as Doan Mon, the Hanoi flagpole, Kinh Thien Palace, the D67 house, and 8 palace gates of the Nguyen Dynasty. In addition, the tour guide Hoang Thanh also explained to the Secretary-General the remaining artifacts on display.
