In the historic site of House D67 (meeting room of the Politburo and Central Military Commission) in the Imperial Citadel of Hanoi, there is a special room associated with the career of the legendary 20th century Vietnamese general: the office. by General Vo Nguyen Giap.

This is a simple small room next to the central meeting room of house D67. From this room, General Vo Nguyen Giap set out the historical decisions and strategies of the country during the period of the resistance war against the US.

This is where the General Staff Command directed the “Dien Bien Phu in the air” campaign to win the earthquake in December 1972.

On April 7, 1975, from his office, General Vo Nguyen Giap sent a telegram to the entire army to launch the Ho Chi Minh campaign: “Faster, faster, bolder, more daring. , taking advantage of every hour, every minute to rush to the front, liberate the South, fight and win.”
