On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2019) and the International Labor Day 1-5, at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long Citadel, Center Preserving Thang Long Heritage – Hanoi organizes many exhibitions, exhibitions, water puppet shows to serve people and visitors, contributing to promoting and promoting the value of the heritage.
The exhibition is to review the proud historical tradition of our people in the resistance war against the US to save the country, to introduce visitors to two typical monuments, which used to be the most important “brains” in command. 1968-1975 period.
Vietnam People’s Army Headquarters (Home and Tunnel D67) – is the workplace of the Central Military Commission and the Vietnam People’s Army Headquarters. From the Headquarters, the wise orders of The Politburo and the Central Military Commission were sent to the entire army, transformed into revolutionary action, into the strength of solidarity, making victory across the battlefields.
The Independence Palace was not only the headquarters of the Government of the Republic of Vietnam, but also the convergence of liberation armies, becoming a meeting place for victory, where the flag of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam was pulled. up at 11:30 on April 30, 1975, marking the complete victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country.
From Headquarters to Independence Palace is also a journey of more than 20 years of struggle for independence, freedom and reunification; is the arduous resistance war won over, the North and the South reunited with a family, earning a living.
Through 150 images, documents, artifacts, exhibitions introducing 03 main themes: 1- House Relics, D67 Tunnel – Independence Palace; 2- Spring 1975: From Headquarters to Independence Palace; 3. Join the joy of victory in Saigon and Hanoi capital at the historic moment on April 30, 1975.

2.Exhibition Exhibition “Award Ceremony in the Le Dynasty at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long”.
Thi Dinh is the highest exam in the system of Vietnamese Confucian nominations, held at Dragon Palace – Hoang Thanh Thang Long Dragon Stadium. This is the most important exam set by the king.
After the Dinh examination, those who passed the throne granted many solemn ceremonies such as the ceremony of naming and listing; the ceremony to grant hats, shirts, and silver flower branches; feast of oats; visiting the royal garden, the prostration of thanksgiving, and carving of a stele in Quoc Tu Giam for eternal transmission.
Following the exhibits on Thi Dinh from 2018, this year’s theme focuses on introducing the king’s rituals to reward great monarchs, in order to promote exam study, filial tradition studied and respected the talents of his father in the past.
The exhibition introduces a number of restoring objects related to the exam in general and the Dinh exam in particular, such as the floor of candidates taking the exam, the list of nominees who passed the Dinh exam; Parasols used in ceremonies; Vinh Quy sea; Brush, ink pen, pen holder; Test tubes, exam papers and books for exam review; Caskets for belongings and clothes of candidates taking the exam; Book boxes, learning materials of candidates … Especially the artifact of the neck was determined by experts in the seventeenth century. This is the original artifact related to Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Tu – Cung Tan in the Imperial Palace under the Le Dynasty, kept by the family of Nguyen Duy Oanh (Di Nau commune, Thach That – Hanoi). A stretcher is a vehicle used for nobility, which can help viewers visualize a similar means used in the ritual of honoring the ancestors, reminiscent of the familiar image of “the hammock he goes before her hammock ”. Exhibits will be displayed for a period of one month (April 25 – May 25, 2019) at Hoang Thanh Thang Long.

On this occasion, the heritage site also arranged many play areas, interacted and opened the freedom of the discovery room “I am an archaeologist” at the 18 Hoang Dieu relic site to serve the children.
