The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long Shines in a Vibrant Spectrum at the 2025 World Culture Festival

Taking place from October 10 to 12 under the spirit of “Connection – Sharing – Spreading Love,” the first World Culture Festival in Hanoi, held at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, brought together international friends, artists, social organizations, businesses, and Vietnamese communities. This was not only a large-scale cultural event but also a symbol of unity, compassion, and global responsibility.

“We have experienced unforgettable days together, witnessing the remarkable convergence of cultures from around the world on the historic grounds of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – during the First World Culture Festival. We shared, learned, and overcame barriers of language and geography to come closer to one another,” expressed Mr. Nguyễn Văn Hùng, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Throughout the festival, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long seemed to “wear a new coat”, illuminated by vibrant decorations, bustling culinary booths, exhibitions, and traditional costume performances.
