On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), the 65th anniversary of the opening of Truong Son Road – Ho Chi Minh Trail (May 19, 1959 – May 19, 2024) , Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center organized the exhibition “Truong Son Road – Legendary Ho Chi Minh Road”.

The exhibition introduces about 100 documents and images about the birth of the “Line of Fire” on Truong Son Road, the strong vitality of the road through war bombs, becoming a miracle of fighting power and victory. of the whole nation.

The stories about the legendary road are told in the space of the D67 Revolutionary House and Tunnel relic site, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site, hoping to bring visitors valuable information and documents about the role The role of the General Headquarters in the resistance war against America to save the country, the strategic significance of the decision to open the Truong Son road from the Politburo and the Central Military Commission. Especially the spirit of “live by the bridge, stick by the road, die resiliently, courageously…” of a generation whose fathers devoted their entire youth to the Fatherland.

The exhibition also contributes to educating the young generation about revolutionary traditions, respecting and being grateful to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed their lives for national independence; promote patriotism and national pride, promote the work of “repaying gratitude”, “remembering the source when drinking water”, paying tribute to heroic martyrs and those who have contributed to the country.
