Ceremony of “Song tuoc welcome” – see off the old year, welcome the new year at Hoang Thanh Thang Long

Opening the festival programs to welcome Spring Canh Ty 2020, January 17, 2010 (ie December 23), at Hoang Thanh Thang Long solemnly held a ceremony of “Song tuoc thuong tan” with activities cave: Squirrel giving ceremony, waking ceremony; Ceremony to worship Mr. Cong and Mr. Apple; Drop trails at the ancient river, 18 Hoang Dieu archeological site; Closing ceremony at Doan Mon yard. Also at Dien Kinh Thien, the worshiping ceremony for Mr. Cong and Mr. Apple took place. Carp are offered at the palace before being carried to the ancient river to release.

The team took part in the ceremony to dress neatly in the long legs, the head of the turban with the delegates, the guests participated in the ceremony to bring fish to the ancient river.

After the Carp-releasing ceremony, the Delegation continued to move to Doan Mon yard to perform the ritual of setting up the tree (stating the tree).

Building trees on Tet holiday has become a traditional custom of Vietnamese people. According to folklore, the mentioned tree was created to mark the moment of transfer between the new year and the old year, and this practice also means wishing the people a peaceful life and good crops.
